CAM – Ongoing Training Course for Drivers of Heavy Passenger Vehicles

  • Interpersonal Relationships

Framework:

5 years after CAM is issued, it shall need to be renewed through a 35 hour ongoing training course so that the driver can continue to drive professionally. The training is mandatory and must be acquired every 5 years, right before CAM expires.


Requirements:

For the exercise of the profession of driver of certain heavy passenger road vehicles, the following are mandatory:

-possession of the driver qualification card for category D vehicles issued earlier than September 9, 2008.


Goal:
The ongoing training aims to update fundamental knowledge for the driver's profession, with special emphasis on road safety and the reduction of fuel consumption.

Recipients:
This training applies to professionally active heavy passenger vehicle drivers whose CAM is near its expiration date.
