Framework:
The driving of Collective Transport of Children and Youth vehicles can only be carried out by drivers who have an IMT (Institute for Transport and Mobility) certificate that is valid for 5 years. The Initial Training course in Collective Transportation of Children and Youth up to 16 years old enables drivers to transport children and young people in accordance with Law 13/2006 of April 17. Upon completion of the course, the trainee must go to the IMT (Institute for Transport and Mobility) and deliver the following documents: 1) Medical Certificate for Collective Transportation of Children; 2) Psychometric Tests for Collective Transportation of Children; 3) CRB check for Collective Transportation of Children; 4) Registration of Driver Infractions (may be requested at the ANSR - Autoridade Nacional Segurança Rodoviária - National Authority of Road Safety, Comando Metropolitano da PSP - Public Safety Police Metropolitan Command or Comando Geral da GNR - National Republican Guard General Command).
Requirements:
Driving vehicles that are destined for the Collective Transportation of Children and Youth can only be carried out by drivers who meet the following requirements:- Legal qualification to drive the category of vehicle in question;
- Driving experience of at least two years.
